COVID 19 RESPONSE

Magnolia Reopens!

The Plantation and Gardens reopened to the public on Friday May 1, 2020. Management and staff worked diligently to deliver a full range of services while observing all the required guidelines developed by the SC Governor’s Office, Department of Commerce (DOC,) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC,) and the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) as well as other Public Health and Services Organizations. As a result of these efforts, Magnolia received a letter identifying it as an 'Essential Service' to the people of South Carolina and the industry of tourism in this state. The peacocks around the grounds were happy to welcome back many of their friends and members of their fan clubs.
