Bugs & Blooms

We are excited to announce the return of our beloved family event, now reimagined as Bugs & Blooms! Formerly known as Ladybug Day, this summer celebration has expanded to offer an even more enriching experience for families and nature enthusiasts. Join us at Magnolia’s Carriage House on the picturesque Ashley River for a day filled with hands-on learning, nature-based fun, and engaging STEM activities designed for curious kids and their grown-ups on Saturday, July 19th from 10 AM-2 PM.

This year, we are broadening our focus to celebrate the incredible biodiversity of the Lowcountry. While we may no longer be releasing ladybugs, we will shine a spotlight on a variety of fascinating creatures that inhabit our gardens, from pollinators like bees and butterflies to reptiles, birds, worms, and much more. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to learn about the vital roles these creatures play in our ecosystem.

Bugs & Blooms promises a day packed with excitement and discovery. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Dance to Kid-Friendly Beats:

Get ready to groove with DJ Jenny, who will keep the energy high with fun tunes for all ages.
