Heather Powers

Heather Powers' textile career began with a BFA in Fibers (SCAD). She then worked globally with interior designers and architects as a commercial textile and carpet designer for 15 years. Her creative practice (weaving & natural dyeing) informs and is informed by her collections consulting, appraising, and work across design, research, and education. In 2021, she earned an MA in Critical & Historical Craft and directs the International Center for Indigo Culture.
