All you need is an open mind and a willingness to learn. If you already own a camera, bring it along! While the course primarily focuses on interchangeable lens cameras, the core concepts apply to all types of cameras—including smartphones, point-and-shoots, digital SLRs, and mirrorless models. Yes, even your cell phone camera settings can be adjusted to improve your photos! We hope to have you in attendance!
About Jim Miller
Jim Miller is a passionate nature and travel photographer based in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Growing up in Florida and having spent over 45 years along the South Carolina coast, Jim’s deep connection to nature influences his photographic style. His adventurous spirit has taken him across 38 U.S. states and 25 countries—from the icy landscapes of Alaska to the southern tip of Cape Horn, and from European scenery to the wilds of Africa. Jim’s work has been featured in numerous print and digital publications, earning him awards in local, state, and regional photography competitions.
