Stroll Through Nature at Magnolia

At Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, the landscape shifts beautifully with the seasons and is home to a wide variety of wildlife where you are likely to see alligators, turtles, and a variety of bird species. Walking along the trails, you have a great opportunity to spot rare and common birds that either call Magnolia home or are just stopping through on their migratory journey.

The nature trails at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens allow you to see several different ecosystems on property, ranging from tidal marshes to cypress-tupelo swamp and bottomland hardwood forests. Most of these trails offer you a shaded walk with plenty of scenic views while you wind your way through the immersive landscape. It’s easy to spend time here, whether you take the longer Audubon trail around the swamp or choose a shorter, more accessible loop with places to rest.
