Admission to the spring market and plant sale is free. Attendance to the workshops, demonstrations and children's activities requires garden admission, which is $20 for adults, $10 for children 6-12 years old, and free for children 5 and under.

Admission to the plant sale and market/vendors is free to the public.

From the north via Interstate 26
Take Interstate 526 west at North Charleston. Drive approximately 5 miles to the Ashley River Road/Highway 61 north exit. Follow the parkway approximately 2 miles until it dead ends into Bee's Ferry Road. Bear right onto Bee's Ferry Road and drive about 2 miles until it dead ends into Highway 61. Turn left. Watch for the Magnolia Plantation signs. Magnolia Plantation is 3 miles up Highway 61 on the right.

From the south via Interstate 95
Take exit 33, Highway 17 north to Charleston. As you approach Charleston, watch for the town of Rantowles and Rantowles Creek. Just after the creek you will see a "Dodges Fried Chicken" restaurant on your left. Just after that restaurant there is a turnoff marked by a "Historical Plantations and Gardens" sign. This is Bee's Ferry Road. Turn left at the sign onto Bee's Ferry Road and follow this road approximately 4 miles until it dead ends into Highway 61. Turn left. Watch for the Magnolia Plantation signs. Magnolia Plantation is 3 miles up Highway 61 on the right.

From downtown Charleston
Take Highway 17 south across the Ashley River, and follow the signs to Highway 61. Follow Highway 61 north for approximately 9 miles. Watch for the "Historical Plantations and Gardens" signs and the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens signs. Magnolia Plantation will be on your right.

From Summerville
Take State Route 165 south to Highway 61 south. Drive approximately 9 miles south on Highway 61. Watch for the Magnolia Plantation signs. Magnolia Plantation will be on your left.

From Myrtle Beach or Mount Pleasant
Take Interstate 526, which intersects Highway 17 at the northern end of Mount Pleasant. Follow I-526 for approximately 12 miles, and take the Ashley River Road/Highway 61 north exit. Follow the parkway approximately 2 miles until it dead ends into Bee's Ferry Road. Bear right onto Bee's Ferry Road and drive about 2 miles until it dead ends into Highway 61. Turn left. Watch for the Magnolia Plantation signs. Magnolia Plantation is 3 miles up Highway 61 on the right.

From Hilton Head or Beaufort
Take Highway 17 north to Charleston. As you approach Charleston, watch for the town of Rantowles and Rantowles Creek. From Kiawah or Seabrook Islands
Follow State Route 20 (also known as Main Road) for approximately 16 miles to Highway 17. Cross Highway 17 and continue for another half mile to Bee's Ferry Road. Turn right on Bee's Ferry Road, drive approximately 4 miles until it dead ends into Highway 61 and turn left. Watch for the Magnolia Plantation signs. Magnolia Plantation is 3 miles up Highway 61 on the right.

From Wild Dunes, Dunes West, or Isle of Palms
Take the Isle of Palms Connector to Route 17 south and turn right. Follow this road to I-526 West to Savannah. After crossing over the Ashley River, take the Ashley River Road North exit. Follow the parkway approximately 2 miles until it dead ends into Bee's Ferry Road. Bear right onto Bee's Ferry Road and drive about 2 miles until it dead ends into Highway 61. Turn left. Watch for the Magnolia Plantation signs. Magnolia Plantation is 3 miles up Highway 61 on the right.

From Folly Beach or James Island
Take Folly Road (Highway 171) all the way until you cross over Highway 17 and it dead ends into Highway 61 (Ashley River Road) at the next light. Turn Left. Stay to the left and follow the signs to the Historic Plantations and Gardens. After you cross over Sam Rittenberg Road, get in the left hand lane being sure to stay on Highway 61. Magnolia will be on your right and more signs will continue to appear as you get closer to the Plantation.
