Magnolia’s 10th Annual Ladybug Day!

Did you know that ladybugs are one of nature’s top garden protectors? 

As we continue to welcome in summer, join us with your family from 10am-2pm on Saturday, July 29, for Magnolia’s 10th Annual Ladybug Day!

Help us release ladybugs into our gardens, enjoy crafts, games and an insect-themed costume contest, interact with wildlife and learn about lowcountry ecosystems!

Know Before You Go

Tickets for this event are included in garden admission. Adult tickets are $29, $15 for children 6+. Tickets are available on-site or in advance online.

All are welcome and activities will be spread around the property.

The Peacock Café will be open for lunch, and special treats, snacks and beverages (including our new Frose, frozen mimosa and strawberry lemonade) will be available throughout the day!

Don’t Forget…

  • Make sure to pack bug spray, sunscreen and water as many activities will be outside!

  • Picnic blankets and chairs are welcome

  • Only the Peacock Café, Gift Shop and Welcome Center will accept cash. Many pop-up attractions will be cashless.

  • Ladybug Day activities begin at 10am. The From Slavery to Freedom and Magnolia House tours will operate as usual all day. Nature Tram tours will be postponed until 2pm.
