Story Strolls are coming to Magnolia
Welcome to the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens Story Strolls Series!
Join us for our Magnolia Story Strolls event series, a monthly workshop designed to inspire curiosity and a love of nature in young children. Held on the first Wednesday of each month from September through December, this engaging one-hour event runs from 10 AM to 11 AM and is perfect for preschoolers through third graders.
This event series offers a lively and interactive experience where young explorers embark on a journey through captivating stories. Our dedicated team from the education, horticulture, and ecology departments will bring each story to life, creating a memorable learning environment.
On September 3rd, we’re diving into a juicy tale, learning a little about plants, and then strolling over to the Wildlife Center for a special treat: a live feast for the animals! You’ll get to watch some of our furry residents enjoy their favorite summertime snack, WATERMELON—from a safe distance, of course!
This workshop is an excellent opportunity for children to develop a deeper connection with nature, enhance their listening and comprehension skills, and enjoy quality time in a vibrant garden setting. Plus, it’s a wonderful way for families to explore Magnolia’s beautiful grounds together.
We look forward to welcoming your young explorers to Magnolia Story Strolls, where stories come alive and adventures begin!
